Warming Centers Open Due to Extreme Cold

CANTON, Ohio – Due to the extreme cold weather the City of Canton, in participation with The Salvation Army and Refuge of Hope will be offering warming centers for those in need and SARTA will offer transportation and the American Red Cross will provide cots and blankets.

The Edward “Peel” Coleman Community Center, (formerly known as the South East Community Center), located at 1400 Sherrick Rd SE, Canton, OH  44707 (330-489-3350).  Guests must enter through the WEST door.  Masks are required (available on site if needed) and temperatures will be taken.  Cots and blankets will be available.  The Colemen Center will be open as follows:

Refuge of Hope, located at 405 Third St NE, Canton, OH 44702 (330-453-1785). Guests must enter through door #3.  Masks are required (available on site if needed) and temperatures will be taken.  Hot beverages and food will be availableRefuge of Hopewill be open as follows:
