SARTA to close Massillon Transit Center on December 17th, 2021, move to new location for Bus Exchange

Canton, Ohio – Effective December 27^th, 2021, SARTA’s Massillon routes will be using a temporary transit exchange location at 227 Tommy Henrich Dr. NW, across the street from the Towne Plaza Shopping Center.

SARTA’s Massillon Transit Center Lobby and Customer Service window at 41 S. Erie St. will close permanently on Friday, December 17^th. All ticket and pass sales, as well as access to Transit Center facilities, will stop at the close of business on the 17^th.

SARTA routes that use the Transit Center will continue to pick-up and drop-off passengers at the Transit Center through the end of business on Friday, December 24^th, 2021.

Beginning Monday, December 27^th, 2021, all routes will utilize the transit exchange location at 227 Tommy Henrich Dr. NW.

SARTA tickets and passes will still be available for purchase from SARTA’s other three Transit Centers located in Belden Village, Downtown Canton and Alliance. Riders can also use SARTA’s EZFare app, the Uber app, Transit app and the Moovit app to purchase mobile tickets and passes for use on all SARTA services.
