COVID-19 vaccines offered at Stark County Fair this week
August 31, 2021
CANTON, Ohio — The Stark Area Regional Transit Authority and Lifecare Family Health Center are teaming up to stop the spread of COVID-19 by hosting a free vaccine clinic at the Stark County Fair this week.
There will be a mobile vaccination clinic at the fair at the following times:
- Wednesday, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Nurses will administer either a single shot dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine or initial dose of the Moderna vaccine. Appointments aren’t necessary, you can walk right in. The mobile clinic will be located at the North Gate entrance.
The Stark County Fairgrounds is located at 305 Wertz Ave. NW, Canton.
Additionally, anyone that’s an Ohio Medicaid or MyCare member 12 years old and up who get their first dose at the fair will be given a $100 gift card. The gift cards are part of the state’s “Vax on the Spot” program that seeks to vaccinate nearly a million people by the end of the year.
