As part of its 25th anniversary, SARTA celebrates riders with “Where ya goin’?” Campaign.

SARTA honors its valued riders with the chance to share personal testimonies and win prizes.
Canton, Ohio – The Stark Area Regional Transit Authority (SARTA) announced the “Where ya goin?” campaign as part of its 25th anniversary festivities. The campaign will engage the very heart of SARTA—its valued riders, who depend on the service for reliable and economical transportation throughout Stark County.
Using an online survey form, riders are given the opportunity to answer the question of “Where ya goin?” Whether it’s work, school, an appointment, or shopping, SARTA wants to know what role its transportation plays in riders’ lives. By filling out the form, riders get the chance to win free rides, SARTA swag, and more. The form also includes a field where family and friends can nominate riders to participate in video testimonials.
From these responses, several nominees will be featured on cable TV commercials, social media posts, and radio spots.
“Our riders are our purpose,” said SARTA CEO, Kirt Conrad. “For the last 25 years, we’ve made it our mission to enhance the quality of life in our community and that starts with each individual rider.”
Efficient and affordable mobility improves accessibility in the Stark County community.
“By engaging with this question, we’re highlighting the different ways SARTA improves people’s everyday lives, giving them the ability to go where they want when they need it,” Conrad added.
SARTA is ending the campaign with the SARTA Café on September 12th, 2023. This commemorative event is open for all riders, along with their friends and family, and will be held near the Canton Cornerstone Transit Center in partnership with The One Center for Leadership at their gravel lot on the corner of Orchard Ave NE and Tuscarawas St E. More details about the event will be released at a later date.
