"Stark County has a large veteran’s population that we are proud to serve each year.  We also employ veterans in various positions.” stated Kirt Conrad, SARTA CEO, “Our Veterans and their families make sacrifices for the freedoms we enjoy. Veteran’s Week is a week for us to honor those who have and currently are serving. Please join us in thanking our Veterans for their service.”

SARTA is committed to honoring Stark County Veterans and in March 2013, SARTA partnered with the Stark County Veterans Service Commission (VSC) to offer veterans’ free rides to the Cleveland’s Wade Park VA.  Since then, SARTA’s Route 4 has provided 45,003 rides to veterans for medical services.  The Route 4 operates five days a week (Monday – Friday) and travels to the VA Hospital three times a day.  For schedule information, visit www.sartaonline.com/schedules
