Medline & Medicaid

Medline vs. medicare

Medicaid and Medicare are two different programs.

Medicare is generally for people who are older or disabled and Medicaid is for people with limited income and resources.

Medicaid services

SARTA’s Medicaid Services are for Medicaid recipients or people who are Medicaid eligible.

At SARTA we’re driven to improve the quality of life in Stark County.

That’s why we created Medline, the innovative service for people with disabilities who hold Level One, Self, and I/O Medicaid waivers.

Medline delivers free non-medical transportation to qualified riders on specially equipped vehicles driven by highly trained SARTA staff.

That’s why people with disabilities, family members and DD Board caseworkers trust and depend on Medline.

We are a certified non-medical transportation provider for I/O and Level 1 waivers through the Stark County Department of Developmental Disabilities.  Our MedLine Service transports to Employment Sites, Adult Day Support, or Vocational Training.
