Holly Pine Lane event to kick off Nov. 15
More than 25 Christmas trees will be on display as part of the Canton Garden Center’s 29th annual Holly Pine Lane event. The holiday event also will feature a gingerbread house contest, children’s activities, a holiday arrangement workshop, bazaar, “Sugar Shack” and visits from Santa.
Display hours will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 15, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily Nov. 16 through Nov. 18. Santa will make his grand arrival at 6 p.m. Nov. 15. That night also will feature carols, cookies and hot chocolate, and the lighting of the Stadium Park holiday light displays. Participants can park at the new Pro Football Hall of Fame parking lot off Fulton Road.
A Stark Area Regional Transit Authority trolley will shuttle participants to and from the garden center. Visitors also can shop for holiday decorations, live trees, sweets and winter accessories the Evergreen Bazaar and Sugar Shack.
Children ages 3 to 8 are invited to a “kid’s day” from 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 17. Participants can enjoy a treat, make a craft and visit with Santa, who also will be on site for visits from 1 to 5 p.m. Nov. 16-18.
A holiday arrangement workshop will be offered from 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 16 and 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 17. Registration is required.
