SARTA is home to a nationally recognized travel training program. Whether learning to ride SARTA for the first time, interested in learning a new route, switching to a new SARTA service or wanting to learn more about SARTA, we are here for you.

Our Travel Training Program teaches how to:

• Use SARTA’s Fixed Route Services
• Read Schedules and Plan a Trip
• Locate and Transfer to other Buses
• Pay Fares and Purchase Tickets and Passes

This program will enable any individual interested in riding SARTA to gain the confidence and knowledge necessary to utilize SARTA services.

To help make trainees comfortable with the SARTA service, we are offering a free 31-day pass to any individual over 6 years of age who successfully completes the travel training program. (Residents are welcome to take the course multiple times, but are only eligible for one 31-day pass.)
