SARTA's Medicaid Services are for those that are on Medicaid or are Medicaid eligible.
Non-Emergency Transportation Services (NET)
SARTA and Stark County Jobs and Family Services have partnered to provide non-emergency transportation to and from Medicaid Providers. These trips may be provided on SARTA's demand response vehicles or our fixed route services.
All demand response trips MUST be scheduled through Stark JFS's NET Department. Below is the process for NET trips,
- New Clients that have not used the SCJFS NET Program are to contact Danielle at 330-451-8486.
- Clients with last name beginning A-KI call 330-451-8449. Please allow 3-5 business days in advance of appointment.
- Clients with last name beginning KJ-Z call 330-451-8015. Please allow 3-5 business days in advance of appointment.
- Should a trip need canceled or resheculed, please do so as soon as possible. You can do so by calling SARTA directly at 330-455-2292 option #1 at least 1 hours in advance of trip. Not providing proper notice may result in interruption of NET service from SARTA.

SARTA is an approved provider through the Direction Home Akron Canton Area Agency on Aging and Disabilities. For more information about PASSPORT transportation please contact us at 330-430-1746.
SARTA's MedLine service offers safe, reliable non-medical transportation for qualified individuals working with the Stark County Department of Developmental Disabilities. Individuals who qualify for have Level One or I/O Waiver may be able to use SARTA as their Non-Medical Transportation Provider (NMT). For more information please contact us at 330-430-1746.
