The goal of the Human Resources Department at SARTA is to make a difference in people’s lives, while contributing to the success of the agency.

The Stark Area Regional Transit Authority consists of approximately 200 union and administrative employees. The Human Resources Department is responsible for the recruitment, placement, training and development of SARTA personnel. Additional functions of the department include Safety, EEO, and benefits administration.
